About the product

BroBlogger is a web app for "bartering" between companies and small bloggers. A company can publish a task (for example, make a post about it), and the blogger can apply and complete it. The blogger gets something free for completing the task.

The application has two sides: the blogger and the business.

The folks at BroBlogger approached us with the task of making the interface more user-friendly and understandable. They already had a working product, but they created it without a designer.

There was a restriction: only the front end could be changed. Since the product was already designed, the client wanted to launch it as soon as possible. Because of this, we could not change some of the wrong decisions in the interface.

Problems

We analyzed the application and found potential problems. Some of the problems we highlighted are:

• Incorrect information architecture
• Unclear where to look and what to do (visual hierarchy)
• It's not clear what steps you should follow to make a deal
• A lot of modal windows
